OK…. I plan to start to do the swimming and weight training as the basic. Can someone tell me a fitness that I can do both with a reasonable price? Because I’m also on my budget too.
Best Answer: Well this has many things to consider. 1. Price (of course) 2. Proximity from your home. 3. Number of gyms in the nation. 4. Does it have the equipment/programs that you want to train with.
On the price issue, some offer discounts if you sign up for a longer membership such as 24hr fitness (the gym I go to). Others don't display their prices online and you need to call them or have them call you. I prefer to think about it and see it online so that I don't feel pressured. There specials on most websites that you can see. They usually change monthly or so.
Proximity from your home and Number of gyms in nation. Well, sometimes you won't feel like driving 40 minutes to the gym, so the closer, the less excuse, the better. Saves you time on the rest of your day. You may also travel or may be thinking about moving, look up how many gyms are in the area you plan on moving to or just visiting.
Does it have the training programs or equipment that you need? You want to work on swimming and weight training. So of course you would need a pool and perhaps a fitness trainer. Look up a place that has these.
You will need to combine all these things and see if they have what you want. There may also be other things or perks that you may like. Hours of operations, health bar, day care center. But of course the important part is price. So see or ask if there are any special promotions going on. I listed some gym sites you can check out. Most, if not all, gyms have like a 7-day free pass that you can print off of their site. So use that and check out the gyms.
Hope this helps a bit...
