I was recently involved in a fender bender. Not much damage but a dented in front corner. Me and my 14 month old son were in the car at the time. I’ve been told that I can get a replacement car seat from the other guys insurance along with my repairs. The damage isn’t bad at all, but i’ve been told that “by law” they are required to replace my child’s car seat. Does anyone know if this is true? Before I go talking to the insurance adjuster talking about “the law”, I want to make sure I know what I’m talking about. Can anyone help me out?
by the way, i’m in Texas. It was the other guys fault.
If this is true, a direct link to the information would be helpful. Or something I can tell the insurance company, “look at this”.
