I was wondering how common bladder control problems are in people with CP. I have neurogenic bladder and I do self-cath. The urologist who diagnosed me said it was fairly common in people with CP, but I’ve heard of perhaps one other person with the same combination. Any info/experiences would be appreciated.

Extremely common from what I’ve found. Almost all the people I’ve met with CP have some degree of bladder problem.

I’ve heard that they are quite common. I haven’t had too many issues with it in a sense. I don’t use diapers or panty liners but I do have a small bladder and I’m anal about using the restroom sometimes. I’ve dealt with a bad bladder infection before and it’s affected me psychologically.
yes, its very common. My younger sister has CP but hers is quite severe and we have always had to diaper her

I 23. and people with cp its hard for them to controlls there blatter. Whne i little i had blatter prablems. sometime i stills do have blatter prablems. I wore diapers intill i was 15.
