How does family interaction affect the social health of a “Baby Boomer”?

Hey everybody. I’m an Industrial Design student at Virginia Tech and we’re working on a sponsored project to develop product concepts for the ‘Baby Boomer’ generation. Any answers to this question would help greatly in the current research phase! Thank you so much!

Best Answer: I live in Australia and my mother is of the baby boomer generation. Not sure what your question means. Our family has very little interaction. My mother is waaaaaaaaayyyy to busy to bother with her children. She'll only babysit grandkids if she has a bit of spare time - she'll normally summon them if she feels like seeing them. We've been told more than once that she can't look after the kids because she's getting her nails done. We just don't bother anymore - she's too busy with her own life to care. Any sort of family interaction seems to stifle her social health, and she won't let that happen!
