Is anyone aware of training that is available for parents/caregivers of children that are medically fragile?

I’m looking for trainings, particularly in the Western PA area that are available for caregivers to learn how to handle medically fragile issues with children. Trainings I’m looking for would cover things like NG-tubes/G-Tubes (feedings), Ventilators, Positioning and other things that affect these special children.

this would normally be provided by your nurse before you leave the hospital….if it is a case such as a foster child not coming form a hospital—you woudl nbeed to arrange for a private home nurse who would could show you how to do it…..the parent in turn would train a babysitter…

all kids I know on vents actaully had 24 hour nursing.

positioning would be taught by the OT/PT
