Is it rheumatology the department that deals with the onset of arthritis and stiff joints?

UK only please

Best Answer: the rheumatology department deals with all rheumatic diseases such as lupus, chrons, dermatomyositis, and many forms of autoimmune and rheumatoid arthritis. If you have arthritis you will probably be referred to a rheumatologist.
