What are the risks of living with cervical cancer without treatmentt?

My friend Koty has cervical cancer and they charged her a $500 pap smear treatment, and she can’t go back to get them or the treatment… So she just said she was just gunna let it go.

What are the risks? Can she get rid of it without going to a doctor?
I live in Phoenix, Arizona. And she got the cancer from HPV.

Best Answer: Does she have HPV (which can cause cervical cancer) or does she actually have cancer? The obviously answer is that if she has cancer, she will most likely die unless treatment begins. It's a very treatable cancer when it's detected and treated properly and early. If she has HPV and lets that go it CAN turn into cervical cancer. There should be state or local program to assist those who cannot afford medical care. She needs to go to a local planned parenthood or the health department and they will give her low cost health care and options for treatment.

Cervical cancer untreated will eventually lead to death. If your friend waits longer to get treated, she may lose her uterus and require a hysterectomy to remove all the cancerous cells that have spread. Any longer, it will spread to the rest of her body and she will eventually die from cancer.

What state do you live in? Most states have programs that will help pay for cancer detection and treatment. She needs to contact the local social services department to see what options might be available. She can also look for a community clinic that offers a sliding fee. Cancer is not something you want to let go untreated.

Cervical cancer is a deadly disease if untreated please get her some help she can go to a government clinic call Your local hospital information center they will direct u to the correct department explain your situation and they will get u in at no charge or will make payment arrangements depending on your incom, make sure to get copy’s of the abnormal pap and what ever treatment she had if unable to get copy’s the government clinic will get it for u but best if u are prepared with all documentation on hand.

In 2000 I was diagnosed with CIN 1 the first stages of cervical cancer. I was given 10 years to live if left untreated, so your friend will die. In Australia we get pap smears free, that’s the problem with USA you claim to be the best but you are inept when a young girl cannot afford treatment to save her life.
