What is the correct daily amount of calories, carbs, protein & fat if I’m trying to lose 10-15 lbs in 2 weeks?

I eat healthy whole foods, and as for exercise I do 1 (hour and 1/2) yoga class, 2 (1 hour) dance classes and 1 (35 min.) session on eliptical machine at the gym every week.I also am drinking 8-10 cups of water daily. I just started and would like to lose 10-15 lbs in next 2 weeks (by my wedding day)

Best Answer: More than likely you will lose that amount if you just started this routine, you lose a large chunk of weight in the beginning if you keep up the healty lifestyle. If you weren't drinking water before, that alone will drop a lot of weight. Don't over do it though, you want to be fun of energy for your wedding and honeymoon. Congrats

get real, eat only when you feel the pangs of REAL hunger and knock out snacking, drink water only, and have a normal diet.Utilise a local sauna to shed bodymass rapidly.

I think it depends on the person. For instance, I lost 23lb in 1 month by going on my own “made up” diet. I would have a yougert & string cheese every morning for breakfast, a lean cuisine for lunch, and chicken or fish for dinner. I kept my calorie intake at no more than 1500 calories per day. Plus, I walked 3 miles every other day. Try to find a walking partner to keep you motivated. GOOD LUCK!

I got married in October of last year and felt probably like you do, first of all no matter what you think of your weight you will still look gorgeous in your wedding gown so remember that. You really should not skimp your body on anything that it needs or it will hold it’s weight. I walked 2-3 miles a day (road miles not treadmill miles) and lost 20 pounds in 30 days on an 1100 – 1300 calorie a day diet. It is really important that you understand the difference between the treadmill and natural walking. If you try this it will surely help you get a jump start. And of course your water in take is really important, which you seem to have down pat. You have to really be strict on yourself and do not give in to temptations, (this will make your wedding cake taste like the best thing in the world too!) I wish you luck but remember you family loves your and your husaband to be loves you the way you are so don’t be to hard on yourself!! And Congratulations as well!!

what ever you do, like if you decide to eat 1300- 1500 calories eat whatever you are going to eat for the whole day in six small meals so your metabolism will stay up if you eat just once a day your body is going to think it is starving and store everything you eat as fat as well as produce hormone that make your body increase it’s consumption and storage of fat into your cells. try googling or doing a yahoo search on the food pyramid( the government guidelines to how much servings of each food group you should eat) the site has been updated so you can enter what you eat and your activity and it will give you guidelines for how many calories you should take in and if it doesnt give you guidelines for how much you should eat to lose weight at least you know it is less than the number it provided you to maintain your weight
