I am opening my home daycare soon and would like to know what type of First Aid/CPR training I need from St. John’s Ambulance.
There is no “senior” level.
There is Standard First Aid, Emergency First Aid and CPR Levels A, B, and C. Which one is right for me? The SJA website is vague about the differences in courses offered.
sorry, i should have mentioned that i am in Canada.

ooook I'll just check that out for you... what country are you in?
this page is from western australia's St john of gods website...
http://www.stjohnambulance.com.au/content.asp?id=127
It has all the courses including a senior and a few childcare first aid courses
Alrighty, i would strongly suggest looking into this course (youth)
http://www.sja.ca/Canada/Training/AtHome/Pages/YouthCourses.aspx
because it teaches things souly based on young children and could have some handy hints. as for first aid I would go with the Emergancy one, sinse it seems to be the highest qualification and its electives have a few child ones.
Hope that help but I would give them a call or pop in and tell them your plan and they should guide you in the right direction :)
