My husband and I are going to start trying to have a child after Christmas. In preparation I made an appointment for September with a birthing center to have a pre-pregnancy exam as well as a pap. What will they be able to tell me about my fertility with just these exams? What do they normally do in a pre-preg exam? Check if you ovulate? Check for cysts? Etc? I’m a healthy and active 25 year old….
